چکیده
For a principal SU(n)-bundle over a compact manifold of dimension 2, 3, 4, we determine the orbit types of the action of the gauge group on the space of connections modulo pointed local gauge transformations. We find that they are given by Howe subgroups of SU(n) for which a certain characteristic equation is solvable. Depending on the base manifold, this equation leads to a linear, bilinear, or quadratic Diophantine equation.

We discuss the steps to construct Dirac operators which have arbitrary fermion offsets, gauge paths, a general structure in Dirac space and satisfy the basic symmetries (gauge symmetry, hermiticity condition , charge conjugation, hypercubic rotations and reflections) on the lattice. We give an extensive set of examples and offer help to add further structures.

The chiral anomaly can be considered as an object defined either on the space of gauge potentials or on the orbit space. We will discuss the relation between the two descriptions. We will also relate to the cohomology of the group of gauge transformations.

Donsker's invariance principle is shown to hold for random walks in rough path topology. As application, we obtain Donsker-type weak limit theorems for stochastic integrals and differential equations.
